History of Beagle Engineering Ltd
Beagle Engineering was founded in 1989 by Managing Director, Mark Bloor, as a manufacturer of precision machined parts. The company launched with a 24-hour breakdown service aimed at local companies.
The key to the success of the company lies in its engineers and manufacturing capabilities, repairs can be carried out on customers sites by Beagles expert engineers and any replacement parts required are manufactured in-house, assembled, tested, certified and installed.
The company specialised in helping local companies overcome critical machinery breakdown for a number of years before expanding and moving into nationwide production of parts.
The move into nationwide production was a great success and Beagle was soon ready to expand once more. In 2002 Elite Racing Transmissions was formed as specialist manufacturers of gearboxes and differentials for every type of motorsport.
By 2008 Beagle Engineering enjoyed more success with Elite and so Historic Motorsport transmissions was formed as a specialist manufacturers of historic racing transmissions.
In 2016 Beagle launched the newest division of racing transmissions, Elite Autograss.
